This Privacy Policy describes how Pie International Company (شركة باي العالمية للإستشارات التكنولوجية) ("Pie," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website at join-pie.com, use our service, or otherwise interact with us (together, the "Service").
This Policy forms part of your membership together with our Terms and Conditions and the Confidentiality Agreement you accept at onboarding. If they conflict on how your information is handled, the Confidentiality Agreement prevails.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy when our Service or the law changes. We'll post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, let you know on WhatsApp or by email.
Personal Information We Collect
Pie communicates with you on WhatsApp. Messages between you and Pie are carried by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under Meta's own terms and privacy policy, and may be stored or routed outside Kuwait, as may information held in some of the other tools we use. We contact you only from the official Pie numbers confirmed at onboarding; automated reminders and updates come from a separate, dedicated Pie number.
Information you provide
- Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and addresses.
- Task details: the information you share so we can complete your tasks, which may include identification documents (civil ID, passport, visa details) when a task requires them; household and family details; travel, booking and delivery details; financial details needed for a task; and health-related details, such as appointments you ask us to arrange.
- Calendar and scheduling information, with your permission.
- Your instructions, preferences and messages: task instructions, your preferences and routines, and the content of your messages with Pie.
- Onboarding and marketing preferences: your acceptance of our agreements and your newsletter preferences.
Information about other people
You may share information about family, colleagues or contacts so we can complete your tasks. We protect it exactly as we protect yours, and you confirm you're entitled to share it with us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, join-pie.com collects standard technical information about your visit through cookies and the analytics built into our website platform, which we use to keep the site working and understand how it's used. We don't use cookies for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Information from vendors
When we arrange something for you, the vendor may send us confirmations and booking details. We don't buy or collect information about you from other sources.
Google Calendar
If you connect a Google calendar, our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Use Personal Information
- To deliver your service and carry out the tasks you ask for.
- To communicate with you about your service, including reminders, updates and changes to our terms.
- To manage your subscription and payments.
- To keep your service seamless — we keep your member profile and preferences so you can pause and return without re-onboarding, and so your co-pilot can act on what they already know about you.
- To improve recommendations across our member network using anonymised, aggregated patterns — nothing that could reasonably identify you or your family, combined with other members' input before it's used.
- To send you our newsletter and announcements, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To request feedback and improve the Service.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud.
- To comply with our legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
How We Share Personal Information
We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing, advertising or commercial purposes. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run Pie — communication and collaboration tools, data storage and cloud services, our payment processor, and email tools — each of which is contractually restricted to using your information only to provide its services to us.
- With vendors you ask us to engage — a restaurant, clinic, driver, courier or travel provider — and only the details needed to complete that task, at your direction.
- Where required by law, regulation, or a valid order or lawful request of a court or competent authority. Where the law allows, we'll tell you, and we'll disclose only what's required.
- If Pie is ever merged or sold, your information would pass to the successor under the same commitments in your Confidentiality Agreement.
Pie does not take payments on its website. Subscription payments are made through secure payment links generated by our payment provider, MyFatoorah, and sent to you by WhatsApp or email. The payment page belongs to MyFatoorah and its privacy policy (
https://www.myfatoorah.com/en/privacy-policy/) applies to it. Pie does not receive or store your full card number.
We use AI tools internally to support operational tasks such as organising workflows and managing task logistics, and to run automations such as reminders and updates. Where you give us access to your calendar, we use it only for the reminders and tasks you've asked for, and you can withdraw that access at any time. We never input or upload your personal data, documents, identification, financial information, or private communications into any external AI system.
We keep your member profile — contact details, addresses, household details, preferences and routines, and your co-pilot's notes — during your membership and after it ends, until you ask us to delete it, so your service stays seamless if you pause and return.
When you ask us to delete your information, we confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. We keep only records we are required to keep by law or need to keep to establish or defend a legal claim — such as invoices, receipts, transaction records and your acceptance of our agreements — held with restricted access and never used for anything else. Copies outside our control — messages on your own device, and WhatsApp's own transit and backup copies — are subject to Meta's practices.
Security
- We protect your information with need-to-know access, staff device rules, and signed confidentiality agreements for everyone on the team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of an incident affecting your information, we'll tell you without undue delay, explain what happened and what we're doing about it.
Children
- Pie is for adults aged 18 or older. We don't knowingly onboard anyone under 18; information about children reaches us only from a member arranging family logistics, and we protect it as we protect the member's own. If you believe we've collected information directly from someone under 18, contact us and we'll delete it.
You can, at any time:
- tell us if any of your details change, so we can keep them current;
- withdraw consent you've given, including calendar access;
- switch off automations; and
- ask us to permanently delete your information;
- unsubscribe from our newsletter, using the link in every email or by contacting us.
To do any of these, message your co-pilot or email us. We confirm deletion requests within 7 days and complete them within 30 days, and may ask you to verify your identity first. We'll still send you the service messages needed to run your membership.
